Lloyd Talks Collaboration With Lil Wayne & Andre 3000
R&B singer Lloyd recently told Vibe about a collaboration record he did with Lil Wayne and Andre 3000.
On Lloyd’s upcoming album King Of Hearts, the singer is bringing out the big guns.
But perhaps the LP’s most buzzed-about collaboration—at least in rap circles—is with Lil Wayne and Andre 3000, on a track called “Miss That Pussy.” The tongue-in-cheek ditty has a retro ‘50s sound and Robert Kelly-like crass, detailing the aftermath of a female’s infidelity—particularly on her lower regions.
“I liked the way it used to be,” a, um, tightlipped Lloyd told VIBE of the track’s anatomical focus. He hadn’t yet heard the cameo verses by Wayne or Andre, who both appeared on the Idlewild soundtrack (“Hollywood Divorce”) and, coincidentally, on different versions of Lloyd’s 2006 hit, “You.”
Lloyd’s fourth album, King Of Hearts, is set for an April 19 release.
