Lil Wayne Selling Out Arenas On New Tour

Fans standing in line for Lil Wayne tickets this morning.

Tickets went onsale today for Lil Wayne‘s “I AM STILL MUSIC TOUR” with Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Travis Barker. Many people have been buzzing with excitement on Twitter and Facebook about the upcoming tour. That excitement also seems to be transferring over into ticket sales as well.

Weezy’s stop at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY on March 27, 2011 sold out in 30 minutes – a little over 11,000 tickets in total – via LiveNation.com.

The Nassau Coliseum date was so popular that the venue added another date on Monday March 28. Another popular show was the University Park, PA date where PENN State students camped out for more than 24 hours.

Lil Wayne sold out the Bryce Jordan Arena within an hour of tickets going on sale (10,000 tickets).
