‘I Am Not A Human Being’ Could Top Next Week’s Billboard 200
According to Billboard “I Am Not A Human Being” could top next week’s Billboard 200 as the No. 1 album! Check out what Billboard is saying down below.
Lil Wayne’s staggered release of “I Am Not A Human Being” might just pay off in a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart next week.
Industry prognosticators are projecting that the CD edition of the album — which was released this week, two weeks after the digital version came out — could help propel the set to the top of the list with perhaps around 80,000 to 90,000 sold by week’s end on Oct. 17. (The digital album opened at No. 2 last week with 110,000.)
The physical version of “I Am Not A Human Being” adds three extra songs to the original 10-track digital lineup. Fans who bought the digital album but want the three new songs can purchase them a la carte through digital retailers, or as part of a new three-song EP.
Hootie & the Blowfish frontman-turned solo country star Darius Rucker may bow at No. 2 with his second country set, “Charleston, SC 1966,” with perhaps 65,000 to 75,000. His last release, 2008′s “Learn to Live,” debuted and peaked at No. 5 off a 60,000-unit start, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Other albums aiming for a top 10 debut next week include Nickelodeon TV stars Big Time Rush with “BTR,” the Band Perry’s self-titled full-length debut album and All That Remains’ “For We Are Many.”
