Lil Wayne’s baby mama getting a TV Show with T.I.’s baby mama
Rappers T.I. and Lil Wayne will see their baby mama’s get their own show. Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Antonia “Toya” Carter (TI and Lil Wayne‘s baby mama’s) are getting their own reality show on BET starting in June.
Confirmed by BET Tuesday, “Tiny and Toya” is the network’s latest provocative half hour docu-drama chronicling the lives of “two dynamic, young women immersed in the craziness of the Hip Hop world, but striving to find inner strength, peace and purpose”.
“On the surface, their real-life story plays out like an urban fairytale — both women falling in love with two of Hip Hop’s most successful princes(T.I. and Lil Wayne) and living the life of the rich and famous,” reports BET. Set in the heart of Atlanta, the series follows both T.I. and Lil Wayne’s controversial success and recent legal woes. Reportedly “tired of being defined by others (in the shadow of their high profile men),” Tiny and Toya are determined to showcase who they really are and rely on each other and the strength from within to find their purpose and build a brighter future for themselves and their families. Each episode will follow the ladies as they flip the script and create new business ventures of their own.
BET will air a preview special, Monday, June 15 at 10pm/9c followed by a sneak peek Sunday, June 28 (immediately after the BET Awards), and TINY and TOYA premieres Tuesday, June 30 at 10pm/9c.
It should be interesting seeing the lives of these women and how they go about there everyday business. The show was a big rumor up until now, and it was said that a couple other celeb wives were supposedly involved as well. Anyways it has been confirmed that BET will be premiring the show in late june. No word from either of the rappers camps as of now, but I’m sure we can expect that soon. As for Tiny, she has her hands full compared to Toya. Tina has multiple children with rapper T.I where as Toya only has one child with Lil Wayne.
This should be a very interesting, I find it hard to believe will see an appearance from T.I being that he was just sent to prison. However maybe Lil Wayne will make a couple appearances on the show.
