Jim Jonsin Talks Lil Wayne’s Next Carter IV Single

“Lollipop” producer Jim Jonsin spoke out recently in a interview, and said that he has worked on a few songs with Lil Wayne that will be on Tha Carter IV album. Jonsin also reveled that he produced Lil Wayne‘s next single as well, and that it has a similar feel to the “Lollipop” record.

There’s also a rumor that you’re working on Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV’ release. What can you tell me about that?

We’re going to do a couple of songs [on the album]. I heard yesterday that one of the songs we did will be Lil Wayne’s next single. I can’t tell you [all of the details]. We might be changing the title of the song and so I can’t disclose what it is.

What is the feel of the song? Are you looking to go in the same route as ‘Lollipop?’

It has a little bit of a feel to maybe a ‘Lollipop’ but it has its own thing. It wasn’t made to be like ‘Lollipop.’ I can give you a hint of what it might be, there are three parts. Pitbull helped me write the song. I think Wayne’s going to interject, but the song goes, “She blows my brain” meaning she blows me away but then there’s an alternate meaning. There’s like three hooks in the song.

On the intro he was talking about possibly doing a remix with kanye and common, that would be dope for a carter 4 track this is the track with the anita baker sample. speaking of samples, wayne needs to have some samples!! remember something you forgot? hey america? I wish wayne would do a soul sample tape for no ceilings 2/dedication 4/drake wayne collab album!

  11. The Carter IV if its not pushed back will sell a million first week and make more over all then The Carter 3. Key thing is tho is it gonna come out on the 16th of May or not untill June cause if June then the whole thing will Leak no matter how good they hide it… The Cater 3 two weeks before release it hit the Net and still sold a million first week. Tunechi had The Carter IV in hi head completely done before my nigga went into Jail so if its not pushed back shits gonna go H.A.M. Speaking of Lil Tumechi whats good with a song flow off the go HAM barz everybody’s talking about… Even kno it wasn’t a diss people just dumb founded…

  16. hey retards nobody is writing waynes lyrics … its the chorus and the hooks as he mentionedd…. wayne writes his raps and verses they write the base and theme of the song so wayne can make some lines that are relevant.
