In my opinion Jay would be nothin without the deaths of Big and Pac. And no i wouldn’t compare Jay and Wayne because they are two different artists. Wayne’s raps appeal to what the fans want to hear and who go buy his shit. He utilizes the media to build his artistry up. He’s smart and you don’t have to accept his music. And i agree with i would capatalize using the media and play off of Jays diss and cause some attention, resulting in some good ass music for the fans. @Rline hop off wayne dick SMFH!!!

I will say that I’ve been listenin to wayne for years and his songs have been dope its like his music has been with me through some shit and whenever I put one of my old cds it brings me back to those times. I know he’s changed a lot and his shit isn’t as dope but I still listen to the good shit.. there’s just not as much of it. That look at me now goes hard, its not that he doesn’t still have it, its like he’s over it and doesn’t give a fuck. He put out mad mixtapes back in 06 07 and he just blew up and got mad famous after the carter III. Ever since then it seems like he’s been on a slow decline. After he got drake and nicki famous he feels like he doesn’t have to do shit but sit back and bank of them and still keep his reputation. It sucks cuz he’s really dope and needs to try to get back on top cuz no one else puts out shit like he does.. some people might have hot songs here and there but no one is even close to the level he’s on
