Lil Wayne’s Rebirth Projected To Sell 150K

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s Rebirth will reportedly chart next week with one-day estimates showing the rapper’s experimental rock album selling up to 150,000 copies.

According to estimates, Wayne‘s new album should lead the pack of new releases next week.

Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Lil Wayne long-awaited rock album, Rebirth, hit yesterday, and looks on track for between 140-150k in first-week sales as he prepares to be imprisoned for a year on gun possession charges. Needless to say, his last album, 2008′s Tha Carter III debuted with one million sales in its first week. He appears on the cover of the current issue of Rolling Stone.

AMEN micheal! this is amazing! music is a way to express emotion and he does it better than any other album hes made right here in rebirth its gold..his other stuff is random one line he is talkin bout killin som1 the next he is smokin a joint..don get me wrong i love it but this rebirth all has a theme! i love it its amazing if you look deeper…

  14. reasons it wont sell more then 150k is cause people that listen to rap usually dont like rock and imo this albuum isnt good enough to compete with big ricl artists. also imo all the songs wayne and kevin have done together have been great if he did a whole album with kevin maybe then there would be some competition
