Bow Wow Signs With Cash Money Records

It was common knowledge that Bow Wow and Columbia Records had run their course as business partners. What wasn’t so known was the destination of his new musical home. In breaking news, hip-hop’s youngest veteran will now be taking his recording services to Cash Money. Moments ago, the protege’ of Jermaine Dupri broke the news, via his Twitter page:

Bow Wow has officially signed to Young Money

Bow Wow has officially signed to Young Money

Explaining the reason for his silence, Bow Wow simply stated on his YouTube channel he was using the time for thinking and organizing.

“People have been wondering where I’ve been,” the rapper said in a video. “For the past days, I’ve been here, keeping away from all human contact. Thinking. Strategizing my next move. I’ll come out of hiding when it is time. This is a new me. A new look, for now. This is all you see. The mystery continues.”

Cash Money Records will now be looking at a roster touting three of the biggest names, at least commercially, in the industry in Lil Wayne, Drake and Bow Wow.

We recently broke the news that RnB star Omarion joined Young Money.

  8. It’s not good. Not good at all. Personally. Bow Wow better off retired like he said he would do. I will differently not support him. But i wish him all the best of luck. But it’s not going to work cuz for one thing sharing the same spotlight as DRAKE??? I wouldn’t think would not like that.

  15. It can work if everyone does not let their ego get in the way of business. This is a good move for bow wow because of age factor. Young Money is the new movement.

  28. I think its a good move for both really. Its showcasing the fact that Young Money/Cash Money is the place to be and that everyone wants to be apart of it. And Bow Wow? Columbia wasnt making him any more famous. Now we may see some fantastic collabs.
