I’m a senior and high school and it’s sad to see so many people my age so upset because people with enough common sense disapprove of something someone their age did. YES there are worst songs out that, BUT that does not change the fact the he had PRE-TEENS up there dancing to it. i LOVE the song personally but it was distasteful and in fact disrespectful to mj in my opinion. not everyone my age understands that it’s JUST A SONG some females actually think it’s cute to act that way because “weezy” says it. It’s disgusting. It’s a big deal because he is a HEAVY influence on young african american teenagers and some white teens as well. When he began to wear bapes so did everyone else. he is an icon. Not a role model. There are so many dark skinned females that are pretty but feel bad about themselves because lil wayne has every guy wanting a “long hair thick redbone” It’s not against him it’s just he needs to know that he’s a influence on younger people and he should take better advantage of that by instilling positive messages.

I am a 19 year old sophomore student in college. Recently in my Free Speech class, we were given an assignment to find a situation where someone’s First Amendment was being violated. I automatically thought of Wayne. I do understand where parents may be concerned about what their child may be listening to, however, I do feel that it is in the control of the parent to monitor what type of music that is. Children have a mind on their own. Yes, parents worry about their child’s safety and influence, but I feel that the proper guidance that should be instilled during the early ages will reflect a child’s behavior. Not any one song can completely change what a child has already been taught to do and not do. Furthurmore, the radio version of the song is censored and way better to that of the explicit version. Wouldn’t you rather a child guess what an artist is talking about instead of hearing what he/she may actually be saying? If nothing else, make sure that your child does not receive the explicit version of CD’s. Music will forever be a part of our lives…always has, always will…

Look, Im 12 YES 12 . And I don’t think the sonq should be tooken off the radio…because like the person waaaay above said “Akon made a sonq sayin ‘I wanna f**k you’ and where were you then” they played that sonq alll the time . My dad and mom would just chanqe the station and THATS ALL YOU NEED TO DO ! Stop boycottinq aqainst him for somethinq like this…and I understand all you people think he shouldnt of made that sonq or whatever but it’s not like he can actually travel around the world and f**k every qirl in the world so qet a qrip !

ok well im only fourteen, and i don’t get influenced! some do and some don’t. and what about birthday sex? they play it all the time. and i see people at my high school grinding to it. why don’t they get that song off the radio? and why lil wayne? what the fuck?! you think every girl is bad then damn you should come to my neighborhood. you’ll see little girls having sex all the time. things like that are always happening. sometimes you just gotta let it. don’t try to fucking take a song of the radio. i mean, have you ever heard of ipods? kids can get them any other way. then hell, why don’t you get every dirty song ever made off the internet, radios, stores, etc. either way, they can get them. radios not even close to a big deal these days. the point is taking a song off the internet won’t do much, there’s tons of nastier songs out there, kids have ways of still getting them, and if you really have a problem then GET OVER IT AND CHANGE THE FUCKING STATION ALREADY! i love wayne since he was in the hot boyz. i was like what 10 at that time? and he always talked about really bad things, and i didn’t get influenced. i got over it. THAT’S WHAT YOU ALL NEED TO DO!!!
