Lil Wayne will be on VH1′s ‘Behind the Music’

Lil Wayne Looking Up
After 10 years in the rap game, Lil Wayne finally gets a chance to tell his story.

The Grammy-winning rapper has signed on with VH1 to do his own “Behind The Music.” The series has rarely done pieces on hip hop artists. The only hip hop musicians that have been on the series are LL Cool J, The Notorious B.I.G., Ice-T, Sean Combs as Puff Daddy, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Salt-N-Pepa, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Vanilla Ice, and MC Hammer. Lil Wayne is joining special company. What do you guys think? I’m excited to see what he has to say about himself… hit me up in the comments or the forums.

  3. Yes he did. Thats the first thing I thought of when I saw this. Im wondering if he is done being famous. It seems his popularity keeps dropping lower and lower. The lyrics are still great, but the number of songs produced are not the same as they were.Other rappers are doing theyre thing, especially Drake. I still think Wayne is the best, theres no doubt about that. Anyone else know what I mean?

  14. Wayne done being famous? HELLLL NO haha

It just means he underestimated his career. Lets be honest, I don’t think even wayne knew he would get here this fast. And Wayne’s popularity dropping? Oh you meant soaring. I won’t even put any other rappers in the same sentense as wayne, he’s a fu**in legend. Wayne will stop when he dies or can’t rap anymore..Bet on it.

  15. Exactly, even wayen doesn’t understand how popular he is now yet alone in ’07 when he said those lyrics.

VH1 just came to him couple years too early lol All this is happening so fast for wayne. C3 – history made with sales – Grammies – grammy interviews – VH1 behind the music

All cuz of ONE album. Wayne hasn’t even started. The world has’t seen what he is REALLY capable of.

  16. Wooow! Lil wayne aint done with rap, C4 is guna be a rap album, that line was just simply a line, I don’t think he meant it, VH1 probably asked him and he accepted, lil wayne isn’t near being done yet.
